Temple trip with Dad and all the Huff girls

Here is all of us at the Jordan River Temple. We had a great time and a wonderful session. The spirit was so strong and we all cried, no surprise there. Afterwards we went to Sweet Tomatoes (the best restaurant) for lunch and was able to visit with Jill and her new husband Mike Kirkham before they left for New Zealand.

I love having sisters and a great father!

Graduation!

Kim's graduation is May 28th, 2:00 pm @ UVU. She will be starting BYU-I in the fall. Kendra and Christopher are seniors too. Tina and Rachel, please post one of their senior pics and let us know when their graduation is.

"C, E-flat and G Walk into a Bar"

C, E-flat and G go into a bar. The bartender says, “sorry, but we don’tserve minors.” So E-flat leaves, and C and G have an open fifth between them.After a few drinks, the fifth is diminished and G is out flat. F comes in andtries to augment the situation, but is not sharp enough.D comes in and heads for the bathroom saying, “Excuse me. I’ll just be asecond.” Then A comes in, but the bartender is not convinced that thisrelative of C is not a minor.Then the bartender notices B-flat hiding at the end of the bar and says, “Getout! You’re the seventh minor I’ve found in this bar tonight.”E-flat comes back the next night in a three-piece suit with nicely shinedshoes. The bartender says, “you’re looking sharp tonight. Come on in, thiscould be a major development.”Sure enough, E-flat soon takes off his suit and everything else, and is aunatural.Eventually C sobers up and realizes in horror that he’s under a rest. C isbrought to trial, found guilty of contributing to the diminution of a minor, andis sentenced to 10 years of D. S. without Coda at an upscale correctional facility.

LAURA'S A DECADE OLD!!

Laura turned 10 on March 10th! It's her golden birthday! Laura is a very happy girl with a great sense of humor. The littlest thing will make her smile. She loves to be outside and really enjoys it here in Benjamin. There's lots of room to run around. Laura loves animals and would someday love to get her own horse. She has a great imagination and is usually fighting off bad guys or aliens. Laura is an awsome student and enjoys playing the wii and computer games. She makes friends easily and is very easy going. Her teacher says she really enjoys having her in her class. Laura is very loving and we love her very much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA!

Andrew had a Birthday!

Andrew turned 14 on February 21st. He's being ordained a teacher on Sunday and gets to go to the dances now. He is also going to EFY for the first time this summer! It's a big year! He's been playing the trombone in Jazz Band at school this year and playing tennis on the weekends. He really enjoys Asian cultures and we are in the process of taking off the old wallpaper in his room so we can decorate it with an Asian theme. (there are at least 40 years of wallpaper on there, so it's slow going)

Denise had a Birthday!

Denise turned a big 42 on February 17th. She enjoys working in the yard and is impatiently waiting for Spring to arrive so she can get at it, and lately has discovered the internet and blogging. (sometimes she's on it for hours) :) She also loves the BBC "masterpiece theater" movies and American Idol is her one and only TV show. But you better not schedule something else at the same time or she just might pick the show over you. :) Living in Benjamin, she has found that she really enjoys chickens. There are now 18 of them, although 3 of them will be "leaving the nest" this Spring. (actually half of them are for sale, so if you know anyone who wants a chicken :) We need to make room for more baby chicks! (that's the fun part) Denise is enjoying her time to herself since all the kids are now in school full-time, but she is looking forward to possibly going back to school. The possibilities are endless!
